COVID-19: Nigeria Places Travel Ban On Thirteen Countries.

As a precautionary measure to control the spread of the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus, the Federal Government of Nigeria has placed a travel ban on thirteen (13) countries with very serious cases of the Coronavirus.

The countries are China, Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, Japan, France, Germany, Norway, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Chibok girls are still our priority - President Buhari

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said that his administration has not forgotten the remaining schoolgirls still being held in captivity and that they are still a priority. The schoolgirls were abducted by Boko Haram insurgents from Chibok community, Borno State, in April, 2014. He expressed optimism that the remaining schoolgirls will still regain their freedom. In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Mallam Garba Shehu, President Buhari, said security and intelligence networks in the country were not resting on the task of rescuing the girls. JUST IN!!! Coronavirus Update: Third Case Of Covid19 Confirmed In Nigeria.

A third case of the Novel Coronavirus has just been confirmed in Lagos, Nigeria. This is a new case totally independent of the index case. The patient is Nigerian female, 30 years of age, who just very recently returned from the UK, precisely on the 13th of March. She observed self-isolation, developed symptoms and tested positive to Covid-19. She is currently at Mainland General Hospital receiving medical care.
